Frequently asked questions.

Can my XYZ come to the session?

  • Absolutely! Bring your bestie and she can be your hype girl! However, once you’re there and the butterflies disappear you won’t need any hype. We do ask if you’ll be bringing someone during the consultation when you book just so we’re aware.

When will I get my photos?

  • We offer same day delivery on your photos. Once the session is over, we encourage the client to go have lunch, drinks, etc to relax for a couple of hours. Then you’ll meet with the photographer again to review the photos. If you have a partner or friend that you traveled with, the review meeting is where they are encouraged to attend.

I’m don’t feel pretty or skinny, can I still do boudoir?

  • Absolutely! Boudoir is for everyone…every race, every body type, every gender and age! It’s about unveiling the secret beauty that you have so you can see it for yourself.

I’d do it but I have scars from surgeries or traumatic experiences…

  • While I understand we all have things about us we don’t like, I encourage everyone to not completely hide these features. They are a part of you and have helped shape you into the person you are today. Honor them, don’t bury them. With this in mind, if there are certain parts of your body you don’t want shown simply be honest with the photographer during discovery as this is a question I’ll ask. A photoshoot also doesn’t need to include these in every shot.

I don’t have a lot of lingerie or don’t like how I look in it. What should I wear?

  • Simple answer…anything you want! Boudoir isn’t about lingerie or any particular outfit. It’s about what makes you feel the best. Maybe that’s your favorite panties and a mens dress shirt. Or it can be your favorite teams jersey. Everyone feels sexy in different ways. It could also be nothing! Yep that’s right, you could wear nothing and incorporate a blanket or sheets to add some extra spice to your shoot. During your consultation these are the things that we’ll go over so you are prepared for your experience.

I planned on booking a shoot but now I’m pregnant…

  • Your point? OMG! Is there anything sexier than a woman with child? I for one would say not! What a perfect time to book your boudoir shoot. If this is your situation book a consultation now and let’s have a chat! I even have a few extra bonuses for mothers to be. Let's capture your body in motion as it changes and book a few shoots throughout the pregnancy!

Do you travel?

  • Absolutely! If you have a unique property or a special place in mind simply reach out and we can discuss it.

I don’t want anyone else to see my photos!

  • Your privacy is extremely important to us and we treat it with the upmost respect. During contract signing the clients have the option to allow the use of one, some, or all of their photos to be release on the website or social media. They can also decline and that is perfectly OK! Everyone on my social media and website has signed the photo release form. If you do choose to release any photos for use, you’ll never be tagged or named in the photo or post.

Do you do milder themed shoots?

  • Yep! I’m always looking to expand my portfolio, from classy to elegant and more. If have a special/custom project in mind book a consultation and we can discuss it further.

I’m not comfortable getting nude, is that ok?

  • It’s more than OK! While nude and nearly nude photos can add a classic look to the boudoir shoot, you shouldn’t do anything you’re uncomfortable with. Many clients feel the same way and often change their mind, but that is entirely up to you and you’ll never feel pushed in that direction. Your shoot can be as suggestive or mild as you're comfortable with. We also have different blankets and fabrics to cover up with if you’d like to do a nearly nude session (meaning you're nude but covered up in the photo).

Why is boudoir so expensive?

  • Boudoir isn’t just taking photos. It’s about giving clients an experience. From posing guidance, professionally edited photos, epic studio rentals, and hair & makeup. Also, the metal prints and albums we recommend are very high quality and built to be lasting heirloom items.

How can I pay? Do you take credit cards?

  • Absolutely! Currently accepting the following payment methods:

    • Credit Card

    • Cash

    • Apple Pay / Google Pay

    • and more

You said I’ll receive edited photos. What does that mean?

  • We’ll retouch and edit for mood, expression, and light. I don’t believe in fully “retouching” a photo of a client to hide or coverup things about their body. All your lines, scars, wrinkles, etc are part of you who you are and should be proudly displayed not hidden. That’s part of what this photoshoot is about. It’s a therapy session in being comfortable with yourself. Scars and wrinkles aren’t flaws — they are the ink in your life story.

What should I bring the day of my session?

  • First and foremost a good attitude and an open mind. Beyond that you just need to bring your outfits! If you're doing a session to provide as a gift (ie: anniversary, wedding, etc) it’s a good idea to bring something of your partners. A tie, a belt, a shirt or anything identifiable as theirs. Adds a little extra spice to the surprise!
